Seated next to her husband, looking at the merriment before them, Greta leaned into Eddie and asked, ‘About that drawing. Where is it?’

‘The goddess must still have it in her tower on Dragon mountain,’ Eddie whispered.

‘Must have? You’re not sure?’ Greta asked, clutching his hand.

Eddie shook his head.

‘So, if the tower burns down and all the drawings with it or if your goddess decides to tear up or erase your drawing, you will...’

‘I don’t know what I will do now that we’ve fulfilled the goddess’ conditions on true love. Before, if anything happened to the drawing, I would have most likely ceased to be,’ Eddie said.

‘But you said you’re immortal!’ Greta blurted.

‘Apart from that little snag, I am fairly certain I’m immortal,’ Eddie confirmed.

Greta looked at him long and hard. ‘If you’re not sure that our kiss changed the fate and intactness of your drawing, then there is just one thing for it.’

Eddie inclined his head, focusing all of his attention on her.

‘We need to go steal your drawing,’ Greta said with conviction.

Eddie raised an eyebrow.

‘Maybe you and your brothers can go visit your goddess and tell her that some of you are now officially released from her curse and ask for your drawings, and if she doesn’t, we’ll know where they are and then we can swoop in and create a diversion while I sneak in there invisible and...’

Eddie threw his head back and laughed. ‘You’re itching for an adventure, aren’t you, dearest wife?’

Greta gave him a calculating look. ‘I didn’t hear any objections as to how we’re going to steal it. So, you approve?’

‘Absolutely, darling. Whatever your heart desires.’
